The musical? Yes the musical that is currently playing in Zurich, Switzerland since October 2011 is coming to Manila.
See what they say about it!
This is how I remember the story from the movie through the great ABBA Songs set on a mysterious and romantic Greek Island Kalokairi about a young bride-to-be Sophie…
- I HAVE A DREAM – Sophie the young bride-to-be, after reading her mother’s old diary sends three three invitations to three men whom she suspects that one of them is her father.
- CHIQUITITA – is when Donna the mother of Sophie confided to her friends Tanya and Rosie about the secret on her being unsure of who is the real father of her daughter.
- MAMMA MIA – Donna is shocked to be face to face with the three unforgettable men in her life.
- DANCING QUEEN – Donna’s best friend and former band mates Tanya and Rosie uplifting her spirit and make her forget about the dilemma by singing and dancing the way they used to when they were younger.
- DOES YOUR MOTHER KNOW – The older Tanya flirting with a young cast Pepper
- LAY ALL YOUR LOVE ON ME – the young bride and groom-to-be singing together.
- SLIPPING THROUGH MY FINGERS – the mother and daughter’s moment while Donna helping Sophie to dress for the wedding while reminiscing how fast she has grown up.
- I DO, I DO, I DO, I DO, I DO – when all the confusions is sorted out and Sam proposes to Donna and she accepted and they get married.
I wonder how this romantic feel good love story that I fall in love with the movie version unfold live in the stage with all the (undying) Abba songs. Oh Mamma Mia! Let's fall in love! With the music and performance ha ha
